U-20 WRAP UP GROUP C ACTION AGAINST COSTA RICAThe Zambia U-20 wraps up its Group C campaign with a formality tie against Costa Rica in Cheonan.Beston Chambeshi’s side is already guaranteed of finishing as group winners after having won both their matches in Group C against Portugal (2-1) and Iran (4-2).Zambia is without its skipper Solomon Sakala who is suspended after having accumulated two yellow cards.In his place Chambeshi may summon Benson Chali or Edward Tembo to partnerMoses Nyondo in central defence.Upfront the team may still line up in similar formidable fashion where Patson Daka and Fashion Sakala will lead the attack joined by Edward Chilufya, Emmanuel Banda and the exuberant Enock Mwepu.Other players like Boston Muchindu, Kenneth Kalunga and James Phiri may get a chance to test world cup action.The team will head to Jeju after today’s match where they will wait for their second round opponents.Kickoff for the match is at 09:45 hours Zambian time and will be live on pay television channel SuperSport.The teams already in the second round are Venezuela, Mexico, England and Korea Republic all.Others like Argentina and Germany are waiting to see if they would join make it as two of the four best third-placed sides.In the other Group C match Portugal and Iran will battle it out also hoping to join Zambia as group runners up.FIFA has appointed New Zealand nationalMatt Conger to handle Zambia’s Group C fixture against Costa Rica at the CheonanSports Complex.According to the fixtures, the winner of Group C will face the best third finishers either in Group A, B or F.This opens up the possibility of the African champions Zambia May Face facing Germany, Argentina or South Korea with a distant chance playing against the USA, Senegal or Saudi Arabia
